Visit Historic Royal Florida

Royal

Royal  is one of Florida's oldest African American Communities dating back at least until the middle of the 19th century. Royal is located at the juncture of CR462 and I75. As part of our ride we are stopping at the Alfonso A Young Sr. Enrichment & Historical Center for a talk by Beverly Steele, a dynamic, retired native of Royal.

We'll learn about the rich history of this community that we often ride quickly past. It is suggested that you spend a few minutes viewing and reading Royal's website
