How To Use Ride with GPS (RWGPS)
This will provide you with instructions on how to access the SLBC Ride with GPS to get routes, cue sheets, etc.
If you don't have a GPS cycling computer, you might be able to use your smartphone. Go to the Play or App store on your phone and search "ride with gps" to find and download the app.

Before You Start
The SLBC RWGPS library is broken down by routes from departing locations.
Routes starting with:
• 100 - leave from Barnes and Nobles
• 200 - leave from Bradenton Recreation Center
• 300 - leave from Everglades Recreation Center
• 900 - leave from other areas
Not all routes are suitable for all ride groups. The Ride Leader is responsible for selecting a route that for his/her ride group taking into consideration distance, elevation, and traffic/roads traveled. If you have any questions on a particular route, please feel free to contact the Ride Director for more information or assistance.
To get the most benefit using RWGPS, we strongly encourage you to Sign Up with RWGPS and get your own personal account. This STARTER account is free and will allow you to create your own routes, if you wish. If you do not create a personal account, you will be limited to printing a cue sheet and downloading to a Garmin cyclometer only.
If you get your own RWGPS account and afterwards Join SLBC membership list, you will have access to additional features which include: print a Cue Sheet and a Map as well, download the routes to a Garmin, an iPhone or Android smartphone, or Wahoo. WAIT - there's more! With Sign Up and Joining, the routes will provide you Turn-by-Turn directions with 100 meters advance notice! And audible Turn-by-Turn when you use a smartphone.

Sign Up with RWGPS
1. Navigate to SLBC RWGPS https://ridewithgps.com/clubs/458-sumter-landing-bicycle-club
2. Click on Sign Up (upper right hand corner).
3. Enter the following:
- Your Display Name - Could be your name, nickname or whatever you prefer
- Email Address
- Email Confirmation
- Password
4. Click on Sign Up.
5. Click on Starter (free).
6. Click on the link above (#1) to return to the SLBC RWGPS page.
Join SLBC
NOTE: This is a one time sign in
1. Navigate to RWGPS https://ridewithgps.com/clubs/458-sumter-landing-bicycle-club
NOTE: Must sign in with a RWGPS account. See Sign Up with RWGPS to create an account to continue.
2. Log In with your RWGPS account (upper right hand corner).
3. Click on Apply to Join (Orange button).
4. Enter your First Name, Last Name, and Email address.
5. Click Save. A notification is sent to the SLBC Ride Director to approve you for read only access.
6. THIS MAY TAKE UP TO 24 HOURS for your account to be active. You will receive an email once your account has activated. Check your Spam or Junk folder as others have mentioned that is where they found their response from Ride with GPS <info@ridewithgps.com>.
7. Once your membership has been approved, you can Print Cue Sheets with a Map, Download maps with Turn-by-Turn, and more. See button(s) above on learn how to perform these functions.
Print Cue Sheets
NOTE: No log in is require to print a cue sheet.
1. Navigate to RWGPS https://ridewithgps.com/clubs/458-sumter-landing-bicycle-club
2. Select Route Library.
3. Scroll down and locate the route.
4. Click on the Route Name.
5. Click on More above the route name.
6. Click on Print Cue sheet.
7. Print using your browser's print function.
Download a Ride to a Device
NOTE: This will allow you to download to a Garmin device only with 30 meter turn notification.
1. Navigate to RWGPS https://ridewithgps.com/clubs/458-sumter-landing-bicycle-club
2. Select Route Library.
3. Scroll down, if necessary, and locate a route.
4. Click on the route name.
5. Click on Send to Device.
6. Click on Garmin.
7. Click Next.
8. Click on Download TCX File.
9. Save the file to your computer. Know where the file is being downloaded as you will have to refer to the file to download to your Garmin.
10. Follow the directions to complete the task.
Download a Ride to a Device with Turn By Turn
NOTE: You will have to Log In to RWGPS and have been approved as a SLBC member to be able to Download a Ride to a Device with 100 meter Turn By Turn notification and audible.
1. Navigate to RWGPS https://ridewithgps.com/clubs/458-sumter-landing-bicycle-club
2. Log In with your RWGPS account (upper right hand corner).
If you do not see the webpage with the SLBC banner
- Click on the down arrow in the upper right hand corner.
- Under Member of, click on the Sumter Landing Bicycle Club logo.
3. Select Route Library.
4. Scroll down, if necessary, and locate a route.
5. Click on the route name.
6. Click the 3 vertical dots in the orange box.
7. Select More Export Options.
8. Check the box Notify before turn.
9. Move Turn Notification Distance slider to the right so it says 100 meters.
10. Select TCX Course (.tcx).
11. Click on Download .tcx file.
12. Save the file to your computer. Know where the file is being downloaded as you will have to refer to the file to download to your device.
