Sanford's Riverwalk Trail
Join the Laurel Manor SLBC group for a great day ride around Lake Monroe leaving from and ending at the Lake Monroe water front in Sanford FL. This event requires advance registration.
There is a pre ride option available of joining Cindy and Dave in Sanford the evening before, staying at the Holiday Inn Express and dinning at the St. John's River Steak & Seafood restaurant.
Our route leaves the municipal parking lot going east on the water front trail using city streets and then heads north around the end of Lake Monroe on a separated bike lane and shoulder. Next, we head west toward Green Springs Park (bathrooms) and onward to Gemini Springs Park (bathrooms). Now we head south and east, once again riding on the lake side bike path, until we return to the municipal parking lot.
Lunch at Hollerbach's German Restaurant is walking distance from the municipal parking lot. After lunch we head home.
